Whizz Wireless Signs Exclusive Carrier Deal for Unannounced Handset, Internal Documents Show

Whizz Wireless has entered into an exclusive carrier agreement for a new smartphone expected to reach San Andreas stores within months, according to internal documents obtained by Weazel News.

The manufacturer and price are not identified, and several passages were redacted before the material reached this newsroom. One unredacted header on a distribution schedule reads "F——— Phone: Launch Allocation," with the rest of the name blacked out.

According to a carrier addendum, Whizz would hold exclusive rights to the device for at least twelve months from launch. The rollout would begin at Whizz locations with stores in Harmony and Paleto Bay listed. Two individuals familiar with Whizz retail operations said Los Santos store managers have been told to clear floor space near store entrances but have not been told why.

An advertising order reviewed by this newsroom shows Whizz has booked a 1 minute and 45 second trailer, set to air across Los Santos broadcast and billboard inventory in the coming weeks.

Investors appear to be taking notice. Whizz shares rose 6.4 percent on the BAWSAQ this week on trading volume more than triple the daily average. On Thursday, analysts at Rockford Hills Capital upgraded Whizz from "Hold" to "Buy," citing "an anticipated hardware catalyst," and Pillbox Securities followed with a "Strong Buy" rating and a raised price target. Two other Los Santos investment firms confirmed they had increased their positions in the carrier but declined to say why.

The manufacturer code tied to the device's filing with the San Andreas Communications Commission is registered to a blanked out company, but claims it as a Vespucci entity that recently closed a private funding round of undisclosed size. Weazel News visited the listed address and found a shared office suite with no signage.
